Hi there,
A bit of advice sought here just in case anyone here has any experience of this. I am going to start using backgrounds for shooting, mainly for video but also some stills.
I am going to have to decide between a pop up thing - around 1.5m x 1.8m say, from Lastolite or similar or a support system which then uses cloths.
I already have some cheap black material and also some green (for keying) and am therefore thinking about getting a background support system. Looking at Warehouse Express, they have a WexPro Aluminium Background Support System or a more expensive Lastolite one.
Any thoughts, experience or suggestions from those who have gone down this particular road would be much appreciated.
thanks

My experience of pop-up backgrounds (I have an interfit giant collapsible) is that whilst convenient, they're a real b****r to look after. Keeping them crease-free is near enough impossible. I'll be investing in the WexPro support and some cloths at some point. I certainly wouldn't buy another collapsible.

Aagh. I have just ordered one (a lastolite collapsible ). Thank you for your advice anyway. I will just need to see how I get on with it.

Yes. I have seen those working and have been mightily impressed. Many thanks for the suggestion.
