Just watched this new "comedy"

I am shocked

Actors of quality

Script of "******e

Truly awful editing and poor storyline

Hope it gets better.

Thought there was a few good lines but other than that it was pretty dire....

Agreed

Will watch next week but if same - no more

Very poor. Had to turn it off, particularly after the taped laughter started before the punch line had been reached on numerous occasions.

That drives me mad in most comedies. If a show needs to outline where to laugh with fake laughter then it's probably not so funny after all.

Most indeed, but with Seinfeld it's accepted.

That was shot in front of a live audience I thought?

Anyway, I was specific about fake laughter as opposed to any laughter because things shot with a live studio audience are genuine (I was thinking predominantly of Friends at the time).

Laughter timing was atrocious and timed pieces

One time it felt real but laughter starting before the punchline??????

Live laughter - think Mrs Brown's Boys....... proper laffs

I just gave Vicious ten minutes to see what it was about and can genuinely say I didn't even crack a smile.

I'm afraid I can't stand Mrs Brown's Boys, either.

It has its appeal but whats left after 24 episodes to do?

It certainly was non-PC and a throwback to the 70s and 80s on some subjects but all in it tickled quite a bit. Having an Irish bacground brought to London but with a good few Agnes Browns in an extended family in Dublin the show triggered many memories and some reflected experiences for me!

I agree with the general sentiments expressed here. Clichéd, outdated stereotypes which turn the clock back decades in so many ways. That two such iconic gay actors would do such a disservice to themselves with this drivel is truly disappointing. Not going to bother with it from here on.

It's certainly no Will & Grace, though the first episode of that didn't hint at the brilliance it was to evolve in to.

I'm going to give it a chance as, once your brain ignores the audience, there are moments of a similar type of humour. I think the part of Ash brings little to it, but time will tell. :)

Had a look on catch up after reading this post, lets just say better stuff comes out of my chocolate wizz way.. utterly dire
