I have been toying with the idea of switching to Canon......I know I am a Nikon man, but I need to know..............

Is there anyone out there with a very good quality Canon body and decent lens who would be willing to lend me one for a week to see if I can get on with one.
I would send my beloved D2x as a security with lens but you know its in safe hands.

I will pay for postage both ways of your choice or pick up and deliver, as I am being drawn to the 7D when it comes out, a long shot and a lot to ask but you never know without asking the question:thumbs:

I have your address Pete so I'll send the men in white coats round now. I hope this bout of Canon Fever hasn't spread to Baby Tiger as well. If it hasn't then we may have caught it early enough to cure you without any long lasting damage.
 
I started on Canon and added Nikon, very confusing and the brain needs another 2gb of Ram to enable a smooth transition.
Every control seems reversed. Lenses unscrew by (Canon) tightening, exposure wheels wind the wrong way.
Mentally challenging, but well rewarded once the extra ram is added.
 
No Rob I'm quite safe.I'm sticking with the dark side.My next baby is gonna be the D200 (hopefully)
 
Same boat here Pete, very undercided at present and considering selling my gear for Canon

that 50D in the classifieds looks like a good buy to
 
This is the second time in a few days that DM has sent me to the brandy bottle.
I really can't take much more of this and I am sure he is trying to give me a heart attack :D
 
Well i guess posting it in the "Out of Focus" board was ironic. Lets see... 1:23 am after a few beers etc hmmmmm :lol:
 
Ah well called into our local tog shop to have a hold of a 50D but only a s/h 40D in stock.....it just didnt feel right the buttons are all wrong......so Nikon it is:thumbs:
 
you should see if you can use one for a week or two before you make a decision :D

i would say you could use mine, but im nowhere near you and only have a 20D. lol

Rovers Andy did offer me the MKIII for a few days but I wouldnt be able to trust myself with it and if anything happened .....very nice offer though:clap:
