Very moreish

Quickes dairy is pretty close (under 5 miles) and their cheddar is fantastic! Not cheap but worth it, especially the smoked. Doesn't come in blocks, just wedges cut from the truckle. Their ice cream is delicious too.
Me being a fat f*** is at least partly their fault!!!

An apple a day keeps the doctor away...a jar of pickled onions a day keeps everyone away!

Keeping a clove of raw garlic under your tongue is a good way to keep colds at bay - nobody will come close enough to pass on their germs!

We all know women love chocolate. This little stash of button Easter eggs belong to her. I have to put them out of her sight, otherwise she would scoff the lot.
I get one out now and then, for her little chocolate fix. :)

That's a REALLY expensive way to buy chocolate! If she needs strict portion control, get small bars in bulk.

I'm not sure I want to know why they are bad for you.

Fun fact: lots of ultra runners drink pickle juice during races. Never tried it but I can imagine how amazing that would taste late in a race.

It's not so much the onions as the vinegar they're pickled in.

Late in the race? You mean when the pickle juice "bounces"? :P

The were on offer in Asda, 98p for an egg with buttons, not too bad for Cadburys .

Another item I find very moreish, are the banana and shrimp foam sweets. The banana does have a pretty good flavour of a sweet ripe banana. Thankfully the shrimp tastes nothing like shrimp, but more like Strawberry. I know they are not to everyone's taste, but I can scoff a bag very easily.

It really is a good job I limit my indulgence to just one day, and this is a Saturday. The rest of the week it is healthy eating only.

Just got some junk mail through the letter box, it has a nice big Pizza advertised.

But we already have one of these in the fridge, and all ready to pop into the oven a little later on.

The missus finds these very moreish indeed, and she would have one every night if I let her. I suppose I could do an extra one a week, if she let me have a topping of Haribo Jelly babies and banana and shrimp foamie sweets. :p

Tesco had a smoked cheese [thin, round, with red wax outer] here over Christmas and new year, I was buying 2-3 per week and polishing them off in one each time - lovely creamy, smokey stuff. They've not had it back in since :grumpy:

Not sure I could eat a whole truckle of Quickes in one sitting...

Quicke's Mature Clothbound Cheddar Cheese Truckle

Got a problem at the moment - we've got a batch of chocolate chip brownies in the oven and I'm drooling!!!

Dang that looks nice! Not sure I could do 1.8kg in one, but I bet I could get her done over a weekend. I love Keto, you can eat like a right fat b******* and still lose weight :D

Just been to the shop and got snacks for everyone for tonight, and forgot me bleedin' roast peanuts :( I do have some walnuts and I think the leftovers of a pack of peanuts, may do.

Another moorish thing for me is Peanuts, again not a good thing if eating too many off them. Tend not to get them anymore, as I can scoff a big pack in one go, not very good for digestion, can be very painful, as I have found out.
So long as they aren't salted peanuts, they are ok.

Errm, yes I think they are salt free.:)
I think you need to spend more £400's on cameras so you have no money left to spend on these "treats". ;)

I don't have treat days, I don't have a sweet tooth neither. I just eat fruit for a sweet taste. My favourite is frozen blueberries and quarter of an avocado pear (preferably also frozen) blended into a thick creamy smoothie with skimmed milk and a scoop of unflavoured, whey protein powder. Who needs icecream? :)

There is a woman that sits just over from me at work. She will have just one thing out of a packet and put the packet back in the drawer. How can people do that? Once the bag/tin/sack/box is open it feels offensive not to finish them.

I sieve as much salt off my nuts as I possibly can... Don't like raw unsalted cashews nearly as much as the roasted salty ones. Only eat peanuts on holiday when they're fairly wellportion controlled - one drink (spirit) gets a bowl (small) of nuts. Given that a measure of Ouzo there is close to 1/4 pint (no exaggeration!), one is enough to give me an appetite! Of course, if I want more nuts, I only need to ask and the bowl is refilled but I do try not to ask.

I went to have a spoon of this Coleslaw yesterday when a bit peckish and ended up ploughing through the whole package in one go, much to the horror of my wife watching. There's an ingredient in it which just makes you keep going.

Just found these in my hidden stash - not exactly keto friendly but F it, neither is cider and I've had a 'couple' ;)

I tend to dust the nuts in my hands, this gets the excess of the salt off. Otherwise, they would be far too salty.

Mrs Nod takes her Mum to M&S every Wednesday and if they have a "3 for £7" (IIRC) offer, she gets us a couple of packs of Kalamata olives and one of beetroot and horseradish coleslaw. They tend not to survive to the weekend, with the coleslaw vanishing into sarnies for Wednesday lunch as well as by the spoonful while building the sarnies.

I will be getting ready for my sweetie fix later this evening, it is when I scoff a bag or two of sweets, and possibly a can of Fosters.
I have been good all week, not eating mass amounts and plenty of power walking.

Not sure where other people get their nuts from but there's a shop in the city centre that sells 3kg of whole cashews (raw) for £25 or split ones for £20 - the Grape Tree. Subcontinental type shops might have them cheaper - not done much shopping for a year or so...

My weakness is for salted roasted pistachios in their shells, as that slows me down eating them.......

My weight has been good over the last few months, so good in fact I might indulge tonight. :)
