Very expired Agfa APX Dev Time

I've just finished a roll of Agfa Pan APX 25 that's been in the camera for 18 months and the expiry date was 1994!

Should I extend the processing time? The Massive Dev Chart shows it at 7 mins in Rodinal 1+25 @20 degrees.

Also I know for a fact that before the film was used it has been stored in everything from a loft, a fridge and a garden shed, so not ideal storage conditions.
 
Somebody told me that film loses about a stop every 5 years. Not sure how true this is though, I shot a roll of TMX100 exp 1993 that was in a very damp garage for about 3 years & god knows where before that. It came out completely blank apart from very weak frame numbers.

There are some specialist people you can send it to, but they charge a fair bit of money & take a while.

Is there anything important on it? If not cut a strip off a foot long and develop that, then compensate based on the results?

Downside to that, of course, is you're bound to make the cut right through the money shot!

TBH I can't really remember, I doubt it it's been in C220 that I was testing and the shutter jammed but I managed to fix it oday so just shot off a few shots to finish it. I might just give it a few extra minutes and hope for the best. It's not really worth messing about with I just wanted to err on the side of caution.
 
I developed some long expired FP4+ and Delta (both expired in the 90s, kept in attics and garages, and shot last year) and developed for the times suggested for Rodinal on the massive dev chart. They were grainier than expected, but looked like well exposed negatives.

Something other than Rodinal may have kept the grain down a bit, but on the other hand, Rollei Retro turns out great in Rodinal for me, and I think AGFA APX is similar stuff.
