Hi,

About a month ago I bought a Sony 18-200 LE Lens from digitalrev and I've having a bit of an odd problem on my A6000.
When in AF-C mode, and below 35mm on the lens, I get about 1-2 seconds delay between pressing the shutter and actually having the photo taken.
I don't have the problem when taking photos close up, or above 35mm, its when taking wider photos and things like landscapes. AF-S is fine.

Is there some deep hidden setting I may have turned on by accident ? I've heard there are settings on some cameras where he camera only takes the photo when the object is in focus. Or could something else be afoot? Worth doing a settings reset?

Thanks for any help,
Asa

All modern cameras, except when set to full manual will only take the photo when the camera has achieved focus.

Is the camera actually achieving focus?

Well I see the focus achieved squares on the screen and they even move around like they normally would in AF-C so I am assuming that it should be in focus.
