aww bless....its fine :)

did you not have a go with treating it yourself? bazucca (spelling?) Takes a while

OMFGGGGG it bloody hurts

When i was younger i had like 6 on each foot and after the doctor burned off one i said thats all i got..

I got rid of them myself. If u look closely u will see a little black bit... That is the Root.... U need to get that bit out. I found tweezers after a bath helped to get it out and then bobs your uncle all gone with no pain:D

no its doesnt hurt at all you big wuss:D

I've used the home freezing kits - they are uncomfortable but not painful.

I just mentioned it when the doc asked if I had any other problems, he did not prescribe anything, just made the appointment.
I have never had one before and I must have picked it up in the gym, I thought at first it was a thorn that would eventually work it's way to the surface, bloody sore to walk on at times :'(.

I had a verruca frozen 7 times over the coarse of a month :(
Only to be told it wasnt a verruca but a corn :bang::bang::bang:

No big deal. However freezing doesnt always work. (But its easy and cheap and covers a lot of them).

If it fails then go see a proper chiropodist (sppelling? mee?). Who will sort it out but may use very very sharp knives.

To kill a veruca cover it with gaffer tape. Change the tape every day and use a pumice stone on it and in two or three weeks it'll be gone. I know it sounds unlikely but it works...

I went to the cryosurgery clinic last week, I was sat down and had the procedure explained to me during which it was pointed out to me that it can be painful, all this time the liquid nitrogen canister with the nozzle attached was there on her desk in front of me  she advised me it can take as many as 12 applications before it is finally removed . she asked if i was ok with that, fine I said but I was realy dreading it:eek:

So, off with my shoe and sock ,sat on the side of the bed, turned my foot over, she took one look and immediately said it was a corn, a warm feeling of relief was then enjoyed:)

Excellent, another fine use for gaffer tape
I approve.

Lol, I always just dug mine out with nail clippers. Got fed up of the annoying pain when walking and so did a little bit of DIY surgery. Sorted. :D
