I have one and use it for all my photo backups.
I dont have a USB3 compatible PC but its still pretty quick at USB2 speeds. You dont need an extra power lead which is a plus, and they fit in a pocket quite easily too. I got mine a lot cheaper than that in a sale at Staples(£60 mark IIRC), so you might find one cheaper.
The only niggle I have is the USB3 cable is only about a foot long, ideal for a laptop but not so good if your pc is under a desk.
I don't think you will regret buying one.
