I agree, there are some stunning photos here and this was a fantastic idea to celebrate Rog's birthday. A great way to encourage people to get the camera fired up too.

Really... you have all been so bloody kind and outrageously Green there can only be that one winner out of such an awesome display of generosity... ME... :D

All in all... I can honestly say that you all made me come over all unnecessary with your show of Greenness... :clap: ...they are ALL absolutely brilliant and if I could I would give you all a great big hug of appreciation cos you are all awesome people... my Green hunger has been (nearly) satiated for a few hours... :gag:


BUT... if I had to choose a favourite... if I was pinned down, smothered in Greenness and tickled Green to make a sleection... hard as it would be, has been...


Simply for it's awesome GREENNESS and a little because it was taken with my favourite medium, I would be hard pushed but would, only if forced, go for...







It really was touch and go and so very hard to pick just one...

Aah. Well I've just caught up with this thread after being out all day, and surprised and chuffed to find that Rog has picked my pic. So big thanks to you Roger. :D

I logged onto the forum on the morning of your Birthday to see smoothedit's thread. Had a quick read, and thought 'I'll bear that in mind while I'm at work today'. Decided I wouldn't need my 'proper' camera, 'cos iPhone would very much do for you, and would probably win me some bonus points ;)

I work with about 60 different coloured pigments, about 7 of which are green, so just the ticket, I thought. Edited the shot in iPhone, to make it a bit more, er..., green, and Bob's your uncle.

I must say though, that some of the other 'entries' are proper brill. Particularly like Sarah's leafy shot, smoothedit's fire exit, and richmond's green snake (I'm sure that would have won if it was in on time - plenty of bonus points there!). Dave450's is pretty cool too. :lol:

So, er, what do I win??? :lol::lol:
