Velvia coming back...?!

no idea...my guess is to live up to demands and not shoot themselves in the feet it probably will be.
 
It'll still cost too much for Pros to use it though compared to Digital...

I guess film->digital is like vinyl->CD.
It will never completely die just become a curio to the many and a must have to the die hards.
IMHO anyway.
 
Can't wait to try it out. Give it a couple of years and you'll be able to pick it up for a quid a roll from ebay a couple of months out of date :)
 
I loved Velvia and have some stock in an air-tight container in my fridge which I was hoping to sell for a King's ramsom :) - or try for an experiment some time in the future.

The effects you get from Velvia, particularly under long exposure is unique and I think many a "landscaper" will rejoice.

Time to dust down my Mamiya 645!
 
Still have some left after bulk buying some months ago and have used less than anticipated due to falling in love with mono film again this year. Great news it's coming back though, Velvia 100 definitely isn't the same!
