Variable nd filter.

Hi folks. Just purchased a 52mm variable nd filter but my lens cap (52mm fitting) is to small. There is no indication on the filter to say what size of lens cap I need to use. Any ideas?

The caps are usually the next regular size up so I'd guess it'll need a 55mm cap....have you tried measuing it?

Doh! yeah I measured it after I started this, you're spot on, 55mm it is. Ta Bob.
