Been looking at buying a hard case for my camers gear I have heard of the peli ones but then came across the vanguard make. Does anyone have a vanguard hard case? Are they any good?

Their hard cases are Peli-clones down to a degree that makes you wonder how they get away with it.

That said, I have two Vanguard back packs that look to be good quality and are well made and durable.

I had a look at the vanguard cases a while ago and found them to be well made, plenty good enough for what I wanted i.e. a big box to store stuff in the house. However if you need a hard case to be used out in all weathers/slung in the back of a truck/used as a step/stool etc I'd go for a Peli every time, they're almost indestructible.
 
I've been looking for a hard case for a while, mainly to keep everything in it while it's in the house, but for the occasions I need to take it on a shoot outdoors. I've looked at Peli cases but when you add the cost of the dividers on top of the price of the case it became too expensive.

After seeing this thread I decided to have a search for Vanguard cases and I've just ordered this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Vanguard-Su...78461105&sr=8-1&keywords=Vanguard+Supreme+53D After much measuring I decided on this one and I should be able to get everything in it and maybe have a little bit of space for expansion. I don't think I'll need to expand with any new gear for a while so it should be fine for the future. I'll let you know how good it is when it arrives.
