Has anyone used them before, what was your experience of them

A friend of mine used them twice. First purchase went smoothly. Second purchase was a lens that the courier left at the back of the car when she was on holiday. Not eh fault of Value Basket you could say but they had changed the delivery date without advising her. It was found under the car part way through the week by a friend checking on the house. Their customer service regarding it was not good.
