i really can't make my mind up on this one. I really like the Dell 34" ultra wide curved monitor, but then again I'm also tempted by a dell 2715q 4K monitor.

The choice is too hard. Please help with your reasoning, I'll listen to all :)

I guess nobody here has these experiences. I think I'm swaying towards the ultra wide.

I've got a 4k and I even find with this I'm turning my head to see the whole screen lol

What size is the screen and what distance? I've been using my Dell 3008WFP for quite a while now. I'm used to the size and it is about 90cm away from me.

27" and probably too close!

Ok made my decision.

I actually went for the Dell 2415Q, works perfectly in glorious 4K. In fact so good I may get another for triple monitor use :) great value for money as well.

curved monitor

curved is one "feature" I would try and avoid at all costs. When rectangles no longer look like real rectangles and lines bend then you realise why everyone else is using flat screens. Just like '3D' this is a "novelty" (it isn't - remember CRTs - and they played with inward curvature just before technology was scrapped) that will quickly wear off.

I did avoid it :) I like the look of it but came to the conclusion that on a TV etc it is great, heck even for some of my coding it would work. However photography and architecture could be interesting to 'produce', consume is fine but straightening a wall would be interesting.

I'm going to get a second of these 2415Q monitors and a dual monitor arm. But not the Dell one as that would mean sitting off centre on my desk and look at the bezel, I'm having to have a look to see for different options.

Been looking for a 4k monitor and the dell 2415q looks like a good option.....

I'm very pleased with it. The quality is very good, comes with a calibration certificate. Supports 60Hz, MST, IPS panel, display port out, and a stand that actually is high enough.

Yes definitely can recommend it.
