Hi All

wondering if anyone could give me some advise on this UV filter I've found. We've got a bit of cash left on ebay and I found the filter that seems a good price. Does anyone know of or had any experience of it?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-MARUMI-DH...hZ002QQcategoryZ30066QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem

I don't want to degrade image quality by having a poor filter, but we need 4 of these between us and £120 buying all Hoya filters is quite steep this close to Xmas.

Does anyone know of any online retailers as well that will accept paypal?

Thanks in advance :)

To be honest I've never heard of Marumi. A quick check shows they are imported by Kenro.

Personally I would go for the Hoya or similar, only 'cos it's a make I know and have used.

The filter is being sold by Aspens of Hereford. You could ask them if they would accept the filter back if it proved unacceptable?

Thanks Chappers

I'll send them a wee email to see if they would accept it back, I've got a sneaky suspicion though they'd not, but I may just being sceptical  and negative.

I've heard of Hoya before, but is there any other brands you could suggest as well please?

Many Thanks, appreciate you replying to my first question.

Cheers

Cheers for that :)

I'll have a wee read through.

I've found some Hoya UV filters for £13.90, it says they're Hoya, but how do I know for sure?
Would they be decent enough for my kit lenses?

Sorry about all the questions but I'm very new to photography and don't really have much of a clue.

Thanks
S
