UV Filter

I stopped using filters on my L lenses long ago but I'm just waiting for a delivery of a B+W filter to stick on the front of my x100T along with the small metal hood.

I've seen several people recommend this as a kind of 'shoot through lens cap' - the idea being that you don't bother with an actual lens cap when the camera is chucked into a bag, just leaving it with the filter and hood.

No idea yet whether it will make a difference but willing to give it a go.

B&W Filters are easier to clean and provide me less interior reflections when I use them. The XS-Pro one (I think its the name, the narrow one) Is especially good.
I don't bother with them unless i'm using expensive lenses and am working in nasty conditions.

I don't bother with lens caps when I have a filter attached.
