Depends on what meter you have already. If it’s one if the old style types with clock face disks and a rotating disk then a new one will probably be smaller. You might find an install date sticker on your existing one somewhere.
 
We’ve had smart meter on gas and electric for about 6 months or so
The smart meter that shows the gas and electric has never worked, asked for another one that’s not much better
Now just had an email from EDF asking for meter readings as they aren’t receiving them from the smart meters :oops: :$
What’s the point of having one :oops: :$

'Cos they're, like, digital and wossisname, they saves yer having ter read 'em, what is a good thing 'cos it's hard to read 5 numbers like... :naughty:

Things like this is why I don't bother. EDF have been texting me forever telling me I need smart meters, so much so that I blocked their number.
I still get emails but the header gives it away and they get deleted unread.

Yeah I know I never wanted the bloody things but the missus was keen and she booked them to fit them and didn’t say anything until after she’d done it :oops: :$

Charge them for doing it? Aren't they supposed to save you money? somehow, ask for compo.;)
