How do I set it up?
id be interested in your thoughts/ trials when you get this working as im teetering on the edge of shall i shant i buy this set-up for my 40d.
Also has the avantage of using it on the flash as well if i dont want remote shutter release.
RF-602 is designed primarily as a flash trigger. It's just that it doubles as a camera remote with the right cable (which is camera-specific).
FlashInThePan sells another little jobbie for remote camera release. I think it might have more range too, as it's got a built in aerial.
Stupid question alert - what does the "N3 end" Look like, and where does it plug into the camera?
Dean don't build your hopes up but my kit came with some different leads and if I have the right one you're welcome to one mate. Having said that I doubt I have the right one 'cos life is never that simple is it?![]()
N3 connection.
Did you not get one in the kit? There should be two cables.

I'll have a look in my kit bag when I get home, but I'm pretty sure that I don't have one of those.
See - told you life is never simple.
If you're really keen on remote/wireless shutter release I know you can get a battery grip with the function built in. I found this out just after I bought mine (ie, without it :bang![]()
My self portrait remote shutter release doesn't look at all like that, in fact she looks a lot different.

PM FlashInThePan, Our Graham, he sells them for a couple of quid I think.
And BTW they don't look like a regular cable release either, they're short and coiled. Bottom of post #2 here http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=157807
