Does anyone have any real experience using RP PX system in the UK?
I am thinking of buying a US version anyway. I have contacted radio popper and from what they are saying it looks like the EU version is very close. But then this had been said for a about a year now and nothing is happening. The bit I don't understand is I use radio mics and I know that all pre 2012 radio mics will be scraped because there is going to be a big jiggle of all the bands when the TV networks are switched off. So maybe Radiopopper has to wait for another year. I don't think they would make a unit that would be out of the public band in a years time. I have seen a radiopopper PX system in ebay which is a bit expensive but I am thinking of getting it anyway. can't wait. I know what line RP take regarding this. I also no the line regarding conflicting frequencies with mobile phones and the Tetra system used by the emergency services. The information seems to conflict itself. Radiopoppers has to observe the frequency of the country they sell in. But I as a photographer need I worry sending a less than 10ms pulse less than 200 times a gig. I'm not worried about the guys with antenna knocking on my door. No one will die because of an occasional pulse of a flash. All frequencies have inherent noise. My discussion is this should I buy the poppers on ebay. Will they work? I think they will, I just want to get your thoughts. Gamblers and skeptics please.

This is my first time on a forum and was hoping for a little more discussion. I'm not looking for the law debate though. Britain didn't get where it had by following the law.(that's another debate).
