Hi,
I have a question about using Lens Hoods and Circular Polarisers. Do you use the 2 at the same time? Sorry if this is a daft question.
I recently got a Canon EFS 10-22. I am extremely pleased with it but immediately noticed it was prone to lens flare. So I purchased a Lens Hood. At a similar time I also purchased a Hoya Pro Circular Polariser for the lens, simply because I like the effect a polariser produces.
But the other day I was trying to use the Polariser on the lens when the Hood was fitted, and found adjusting the polariser difficult. Which got me thinking do I really need to use both? Will the polariser reduce flare as well as the effect it gives? Or do I have to use the Polariser and the Hood on sunny days ?
Many thanks in advance
