Using headphones with a 600D

Hi,

I'm thinking of picking up a 600D soon, alongside a Rode Videomic for playing around with video. One thing I'd like to have is the ability to monitor audio through headphones while recording. A bit of googling has shown me that the 600D doesn't have a headphone jack, nor does the Rode, so I can't see any obvious way of using headphones.

So my question is, is there any way I can use headphones to monitor audio with this setup? I'm a total newbie to DSLR video though, so I might be missing something obvious :bonk:

You could get a Beachtec pre amp but they are expensive.

So there's no way to avoid using a pre-amp? I guees I could use a different recorder like the H4n with a splitter, but that would get pretty pricey
