Using flash at night street photography

Was wondering what's work flow on using flash at night street photography? Going London next week and planning o take some night portrait shots for m girlfriend. I've never shot night street portrait before, so not sure what setting or work flow to start with.

Was wondering what's work flow on using flash at night street photography? Going London next week and planning o take some night portrait shots for m girlfriend. I've never shot night street portrait before, so not sure what setting or work flow to start with.

No different to any other kind of flash photography really, except you can't use bounce. Prolly slow-sync technique, dropping the shutter speed to pull up the ambient background level.
