useful piece of software and its FREE

It's been out for a while, but I haven't heard much about it for a bit. It was an experimental Microsoft thing that I think they were hoping would become pretty big.

Think they were hoping they could get access to millions of photos and build up 360 degree views of places, probably a bit like Google Street View, but without having to send out camera vans. Problem is they couldn't just harvest photos on Flickr or similar and need people to submit the stuff to let them have access.

I did have a go a while back. Nothing special with what I attempted, but it does remind me that I've done a number of potential panorama shots recently that might work using this.

used the app on iPhone, easy and simple to use, quality is something else as taking pictures sometimes overlaps and doesn't blend well, but for a free pano app its alright
