Use a drop of Fairy liquid when washing negatives.

Just thought I'd say that I find, even with our hard water, that a single drop of Fairy liquid in a bowl when washing negatives is all that is needed to be able to have them dry streak free. ( I then hang them in the bathroom.)

I remember being told to do this when I first learnt developing at school. Certainly worked a treat

They used to call this 'wetting agent' and sell it in small bottles, my father used to wind up my mother by saying it made water wetter!!

i wouldnt reccomend it myself,it has salt and other things to move grease

buy the proper film wetting agent its not expensive and designed for the job
