hello,

please help me,

i forgotten my battery charger for my Canon 50d in a hotel and cannot get back till next week.

but i go on holiday 2moro and need a charger.

please can anybody tell me where i could pick one up from on the highstreet.

tried jessops and their talking £40!!!

any helpers

please?

jessops are idiots seriously!! i bought a compact flash card from them didnt even open it returned it an hour later and they tried to refuse me a refund haha! silly

im going to try london camera exchange first thin gin the morning lets hope hey haha
 
No wonder the firm is going down the pan with how some people use and abuse their returns policy.
 
Hi I have a spare charger for my 30d plus battery I was going to post on for sale for £28.00 ono if any good..oops just read fully you go tomorrow no chance of you getting it. Im in NOrtholt if any good on your way.

If you need it I take it you will come on M3 to M25 and M1 if desperate I could meet you just of the M25 at Denholm the M40 exit..which may help you out pm me if any good..

Just an idea... If the airport you're leaving from (and destination) airport has got a half decent set of retail outlets, you might get one there. Perhaps it'd be worth a squint at their websites to see what shops are there and follow up with a quick phone call to see if they've one/ get one in for you/ price/ etc...?
 
haha, but i didnt want a lecture on how the retail ventures of an overpriced rip off store are, but thanks anyways!!!

ill keep that in mind thanks mate going to try the camera exchange first but i might just take the detour in my car first its only 100 miles out!!

You could get a cheap battery with charger off ebay and have it posted to your holiday hotel.

if the 5D takes same size battery as MKIII you could borrow my charger. Im not far from Manc Airport

Never mind just googled for a pic an its not the same

If you fancy a trip round the M42 on your way to the airport, I got a spare 50D charger and battery you can borrow. Let me know and I'll PM you a contact phone number etc.
