Urgent: Making out characters in an image

Hi,

This is quite urgent, kind of has to do with my business that i run. CCTV picked up a vehicle, i took a screenshot and i need to make out the registration plate of the vehicle, some characters i can make out and some i cant. The police will take the cctv tomorrow and spend some time tracking it down, i just thought someone on here who is really good with photoshop can work out the registration plate so i can pass it onto them tonight and hopefully the vehicle can get tracked down tonight or quicker.

Here is there PSD file. Its the vehicle on the left side that is a taxi.
If someone can help me out would be much appreciated, i am useless with photoshop.

Hmm very difficult. Seems like 57GTK.

Not sure about the first part, not even sure the bit I said is right after looking at the second PSD. Sorry I cant be any more of a help

Maybe time to invest in new CCTV. What do you think it says?
 
i'm thinking SA57 BXW but thats not with photoshop, thats just with squinting! haha!!
 
Most taxi's are S reg here in Glasgow, so im thinking its SA57 ?PK The ? is either G or R i think. Anyone else got any opinions?

Tell me about it, i took over the business quite recently, upgraded all the indoor camera's with a new DVR, just waiting for the new outdoor camera's to arrive. If you think thats bad you should see what the indoor camera's were like.
 
You haven't helped in that the image appears to be resized at 105%. Can you post a 100% direct out of camera shot?
 
if it is an SA prefix plate then it's Scotland

it has a roof taxi sign hence it is a TOA taxi not private hire

it does NOT have a small plate on the right bumper corner so it is not a Glasgow TOA
 
Thanks for your help guys n gals. Managed to track down the guy, gotta good mugshot of him. So taxi plates doesnt matter anymore.
