Hi all,

Ive recently been getting into some off camera flash, the current set up i have is a canon 550d, a yongnuo yn-560 ii and using a yongnuo RF-602 trigger and receiver.

I bought and received a Yongnuo yn-560 III today, because ive heard it is compatible with the RF-602 wireless triggers, which seemed to be a good idea to add a second flash that is compatible with my current triggers to save me having to buy a new receiver.

But, my problem is i can not get the 560-III to fire from the RF-602 transmitter, i was wondering if anyone has this problem or how to get it to fire?

Ive currently got it into multi mode, but it wont fire, my other 560 II flash fires, but my III wont.

Anyone that could help ASAP would be great as i have a shoot to do tomorrow and wanted to give using my second flash a bash!

Also, anyone that does know how to get it to fire, explaining it in the simplest way possible would be great (maybe even including pictures) just as i am quite new to flash photography!

Cheers, Ell

Press button with "flash" symbol to select M mode (toggles through S1-S2-M).
Press first button "light" + Mode button to open advanced menu, use up/down until you see symbol for RF 60 "n", select "2" for the RF 602.
Save with center pin...

These settings will be saved, so it's a one time exercise only.
