UPS

When I used to sell them we had loads of customers who had problems ... not usually with the UPS though :D

Do you have a specific problem or was this just a general question?

On the whole UPS technology is well tried and proven. They're no more likely to develop a fault than any other piece of electronic hardware. I have a 3KW PowerWare unit at home which is six years old and still running on its original batteries - it's never gone wrong (touch wood).

Nope, they have been nothing other than brilliant for me.

I'm waiting for a lens to arrive, it was meant to come today and when I Checked the tracking it said that I asked for it to be delivered another day. I rang them asking what was going on and they said the driver could not find my house hmmmm my house is really easy to find! They said the driver will deliver it again today before 6pm and I got the guy who I spoke to main number, now when I ring it just rings out and or engaged for ages then just rings out. My guess is they didn't want to deliver it today and he is ignoring my calls.

UPS have delivered all my parcels (whether to me or from me) very fast, although admittedly I don't tend to use them much. Customer service, depending on who you get, can be a bit hit-and-miss but I wouldn't not reccommend UPS if thats what you're after.

I sent a tc rmsd yesterday which hasn't been delivered today, a lot of the hubs are in large cities, given the value of a 44 tonne artic full of parcels I suspect a lot of journeys have been cancelled

Always been spot on for me; had loads of stuff from them. Always on time, polite and smart.

Sometimes fine, and sometimes not. We live in a village and our address is easy to find, but we have had the usual excuses. The one that really took the biscuit was when a courier - not UPS - delivered an expensive duvet to a similar, but not identical, address in a town 10 miles away. By coincidence, the householder had the same surname. That took a bit of sorting out, when the witch that actually received it tried to argue that it was delivered to her, and so she was entitled to keep it. I had to deal with her myself in the end, and point out that I disagreed with her point of view, and that perhaps we should get the police to adjudicate.
