No
I'm not a very patient man. Just thought it would be best to open with that.

So my order was apparently dispatched 12pm yesterday, I was given a tracking number but it still shows as:

"Order Processed: Ready for UPS
A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated."

Is there any chance that it's been dispatched and ups are just being slow to update me or do you reckon it's still in Panamoz HQ?

Thanks

No idea, but mine is showing the same...being patient is hard when you're expecting a shiny new toy :D

Nope.

The warehouse processes the order and informs UPS and the label gets generated.

UPS collect and scan from warehouse and deliver to UPS depot, and scan.

From depot out (scan) to airport (scan) and at every step of the journey to the UK.

All the scans are timed and viewable online via the tracking number.

Sounds like your parcel has not been collected yet but once it has ........WHOOOOOSH

Gah. Thanks. I'm going crazy having no nikon lenses to use on my new body.
I really wish Panamoz would say that themselves instead of saying it's dispatched!

To be fair, all warehouses have scheduled times when couriers come and collect the parcels. The company I work for is no different. I expect UPS only collect once or twice a day, perhaps morning and afternoon, so I'd imagine there'll be some movement on the status tomorrow morning - or since they're several hours ahead of us, some time late evening or early hours of the morning UK time.

Your positivity is reassuring.
This being my first purchase, the existence of this subforum is amazing. It's so difficult to trust a foreign company with prices this good.

I have to remain positive, otherwise I'd be biting my fingernails away in worry that I've just transferred a shed load of money to a foreign company, with nothing to fall back on if it all goes pear-shaped

Seriously though, Panamoz have been around for a while and there are plenty of good reviews on the web, so I doubt they're going to throw that custom away by scamming me and you out of our hard earned ££££.

I bought a lens adapter from the States a couple of weeks ago. I had an email from the supplier saying it had been dispatched via UPS - this was via Amazon Markets - the tracking facility via Amazon never showed anything.

The UPS tracking number never worked via the parcel Tracking App but the parcel arrived via Royal Mail only 5 days after it left the supplier.

Apparently they have packed their bucket and spade (or whatever they use on the beach in HK) and gone off on their hoillibobs:

Hopefully your order was collected before the last person turned out the lights in the office

I feel sick. I'm flying soon and thought 2 weeks would be fine given the 2-3 working days estimate.

Their holiday starts tomorrow, 29th, so they are open today and I assume ups will do a collection today. I've asked this question on their holiday thread.
