Yo!

I have had a Canon 300D for a while now and feel I need to move on, its so slow..... Curry's (dare I say it) have a great deal out on the Olympus e410.

I have given it a quick test in store and it seems nifty.

Any personal experiences or advice to offer before I plunge?
There are many options for my upgrade but I have a very limited budget and this seems to be a great oppourtunity.

For £299.99 including 2 lenses (14-42 & 40-150mm) + free delivery I don't think you'll get a much better deal anywhere - the lenses alone would cost you £344.90 if you purchased them from warehouse express - and of course you'll get a kosher guarantee.

I'm tempted by this deal as I'm on the look out for a cheap 410 or 420 as a backup to my E-3 but don't need the lenses and can't be asked to auction them off on ebay.

I haven't used the 410 but I did have a 510 which apart from having IS and being slightly larger is a very similar camera - they both have the same sensor which is why I would have no qualms about buying a 410 as the image quality I got from the 510 was 1st class.

Go for it - you'll have the 35mm equivilant of 28mm to 300mm in a very small (for a DSLR) package.

Are you sure they have stock of the E410? Currys discontinued the 410 about 4 months ago now. If you cant get one, i think they are still doing the E420 with a free bag and 2GB CF card
