Upgrading Lightroom and Photoshop

Hi all,

On my previous PC, i could only use LR3 due to the OS being Windows XP.

Now that i have had to buy a new PC, is it worth me upgrading to the latest one? What benefits will i gain from having this?

Also, i am currently using PS3, worth upgrading?

Hi, Personally I would upgrade to L/R 5 although it has a few teething trouble they I am sure will be fixed very soon, P/S Unless you are a professional person making a lot of money I would stick to what I had as I feel P/S is to large a beast unless you no it well. There are IMO other softwares out there now that if all you want to do is manipulate your photographs can along with L/R 5 do a great job or even PSE 11.
As I say always JMO and the final decision is yours to make.

I agree with Russ, update LR and keep PS3.
