Upgrade a D90 to...?

There have been a few on the classifieds for a couple hundrend less than that and MPB has them every so often for around 1300. So hope is not lost just yet! :D

hehe could do... but can't wait that long, need to get a second body sorted sooner rather than later, and with no definite release date, not sure it's an option

yeah there's one being listed for 1300 at the mo, but the idea of having a brand new one with warranty, etc. for about 10% more is pretty attractive :D
 
d700 back in stock at currys / dixons / pc world online... though not sure how long they'll hang around for if yesterday is anything to go by

earliest date they had for £10 guaranteed delivery was Friday 3 June, so looks like they're sourcing in some more stock which will be arriving sometime next week... which i reckon means there won't be any in store for now?
 
Go for it! Get one now. I've got a while to wait for mine. Swmbo has just booked a holiday with her mum, so that gives me the green light to save for another camera!

it's bought! still umming and ahhing, but i felt gutted yesterday evening that i'd missed out on a brand new one at that price... so won't make the same mistake!

got a week to wait for delivery, but gives me time to get a couple of CF cards, etc :)

I'm just a bit excited now :) thanks for all the input guys!

i always bought class 10 Sandisk Extreme cards for the D90, any recommendations for which to get/not to get for CF cards?

think I'd better head over to a D700 thread before this one goes off topic!
 
What sort of stuff do you shoot? I didn't really need anything that fast.

I got sandisk ultra's - the 8gb versions for £20 from
7dayshop.
