Upgrade - 50D or 60D?

This thread had got so far back (page 7) that I feel like I'm playing with the dead - a very active board!

I ended up getting a second-hand 50D (verified c.3300 shutter actuations) complete with Opteka grip, six batteries and a transferable extended warranty that is good to November 2012 for a similar price to the refurbished camera in my original post (further research put me off that seller). I'm very pleased with the camera - arrived today so I haven't had much chance to play with it yet.

if you don't need video and rotating screen get 50d
 
Which ever camera you ended up getting you would have been extremely happy with.
The 50D is a decent camera and performs well in a variety of situations.
