Update firmware of a Nikon D300 v1.10

I have problem to update firmware Nikon D300 v1.10 im doing every thing to instruction and is coming up error.

Did you put both of the sections of the firmware on the memory card at the same time?

no i was use 2 memory cards

Did you put the firmware update in th root of the card?

i.e. not in any folders etc

I took this from a former post & followed it to the letter .. worked great, but not first time !!

yes i put the firmware in to root of the card not in folder and my memory cards was formatted bifour i started

You may have downloaded an faulty update, download it again and try again.
