Hi, could you be more specific :shrug:,I think you'll find you need more than just software.

I think you are referring to the visual calibration software that comes with Mac's. It part of the OS package.
Don't know what version of OSX you are running, but the only way to get a more upto date version would be an OS upgrade.
Whilst this method is better than nothing, I'd suggest you look at a complete package, such as te Huey or the Spyder system. If you can really afford it the the X-Rite system is excellent.
However I have a MBP and whilst I can get a reasonable calibration, compared to my desktop monitor and the iMac monitor there is still some discrepancy. Not a lot but noticeable.
If you know someone who has a calibration device, might be worth borowing to see if the expeniture is worthwhile
