Hello Folks,

Just signed up to the Talk Photography Forum. Good to see some good examples of work, plenty for me to learn from. I've had my Nikon D50 for 5 years. It has'nt been over used as I tend to be lazy about carrying it around and usually have my Lumix compact on my belt. I'm keen to improve my photography, and results are better with a SLR. This one has a Nikkor 18-70mm f35-4.5 G IF ED lens. I should like at some point to upgrade to either a D5100 0r D3100 and should like opinions on utilising my current zoom lens so I should only need to buy the 'body'. I prefer the D1500 which is the more expensive, and has the flip viewfinder, which I always loved on my Canon G2, such a useful feature. Any advise would be helpful,
