Unwanted Music on iPhone

There appears to be an album in my music app that doesn't want to leave. I'd cleared all songs off so I could reimport some different stuff but this particular album won't go away. According to iTunes, there is no music currently on my iPhone but, when I look on the phone, the album is there, staring back at me and laughing. :(

Load more music on. It may overwrite it all. Also make sure there isn't some sync thing sneakily putting it back on.

I don't know if the album view is cached so a restart or similar might make it forget it is there too.

Tried all that Suz and my music is managed manually in the iPhone.
 
Change it to automatic. Let it fill it then change it back to manual after? Beyond that I'd don't have a scooby :)
 
If iTunes is saying there is no music on the iPhone.... have you changed/upgraded your iPhone at any time?.

And, you're syncing it to iTunes, and it's not in your iTunes library?.
Kinda doesn't make sense..... but I don't think I have the answer either.
 
Short of erase all content and settings I think you might be!

This might be a daft question....did you upload it to this iPhone(the one you have now), or the last one?.
