I bought a job of at a camera fair last December, @moggi1964 saw the plastic container full at the time. There were 4 cameras, two wood & brass, an ICA reflex, and this one packed in too tight to look at the fair.
This is a Focal Plane Shutter Strut Press Camera:

It's a Half Plate Thornton Pickard All-Weather Press Camera, with a Ruby Focal Plane shutter.
Initially the shutter didn't fire properly, but it just needed exercise, it now works well. It is now partially restored, improved Focus screen, I've significantly tidied up the Focus hood, and I made a lens board. Now I need a 7"/18cm lens in a focus mount. Somewhere in my garage I have a view finder for the camera
Unusually this camera takes modern Half plate film or plate holders, so also 7x5, and I have DDS holders & film. I can't find any references to this Half plate camera, the last TP catalogue in a BJP Almanac is 1926, and they were available in 4 sizes - Quarter Plate, 9x12cm, 5x4, & Postcard size.
