Not sure if this is widely known, but while playing with some test images from my new 7D, I found that the version of DPP shipped with the camera - 3.9.1.0 - has an Unsharp Mask function in addition to the usual Canon Sharpness grades. It doesn't use the same scale as PS USM, but has the same level of adjustments.
