Need to unlock my iPhone 4s and as it was not purchased with O2 they refuse to unlock it. Has anyone ever used those internet services that can unlock your iPhone? if so, was it pain free?:)

thanks for any help

I've used GSMLiberty on a couple of occasions, about £5 a pop to unlock Blackberrys, but not iPhones. I only mention it because they were quite cheap compared to some of the services and worked quickly (around 5 min in each case), and first time too, so they're not some form of scam site (at least based on my experience).

They do list iPhones on their site.

Thanks Dave,

I have just paid them to unlock my iPhone. Fingers crossed:)

I've had real trouble in the past unlocking iPhones specifically - for less than £80 anyway.

I've resorted to selling on gumtree and buying the network I need on gumtree. If you're lucky there may be someone in the same boat looking for a swap?
