i might have seriously cocked up here.paid for a 7d on wednesday the 23rd and it was allegdly dispatched on the 24th.delivery times are stated to be 2-4 days and i`m still waiting.rang tonight and was told that they are launching an investigation tomorrow to track it down as it could be and i quote,"either misplaced or stolen".i`m going to tell them tomorrow that i no longer want it and want a refund.if they are this useless now god knows what they would be like if i had a problem later.luckily i used a credit card as after selling stuff and saving i had the money but wanted the insurance of a card.i activated the card minutes before i used it to buy the camera and haven`t used it since so i`m going to check with them as well as i seen some alarming reports on google regarding fraud.i`m seriously ****ed off now.

update.after requesting a refund and emailing 5 times i have at last had s reply.my refund is being "processed".still waiting........

I'd get onto the credit card issuer and let them know of the problem. As you are aware, there is a degree of insurance available by purchasing via CC.

i`ve already contacted them and made sure nothing else has been charged.the card has never been used and i had to activate it minutes before i made the purchase so i know there should only be that amount on it.they have sent me a form to fill in which i received this morning.

Camerabox are an awful outfit to deal with..... See other threads on here. Talk to Oxford Trading Standards. I did and got a refund after 8 days. Send a registered letter to them stating that you are getting in touch with Oxford Trading Standards. They failed to answer emails, were rude and unprofessional. Hope you sort it soon.

Glad I read this....was considering ordering a D7000 from them in the not too distant future!

I had also considered Fizi and Simply Electronics, but after doing a search on here I'm going to be steering well clear of these companies
