Underwater photos

May as well join in. I take a fair few u/w photos when im not working using a 550D in a modified 450D ikelite housing. If i was buying from scratch now i'd get a Nauticam housing without doubt but it wasn't around at the time i bought my 450D. Usually using a 10-22mm lens/8" dome for wide or 60mm/f2.8 macro with flat port for macro. 2 x DS160 strobes.

Those from the last few weeks. Got more on the flickr photostream.

Underwater photography is fun but ridiculously expensive. Often the camera body is the cheapest part of the whole setup!

..and yes, the Martin Edge book is well worth a read.

Stunning pics there! Yea i defiantly agrees on the expensive side thought! 1 z240 and you could get two 580ex ii's and have some change!

Im looking at buying a nauticam housing for my 60d in feb when i get my bonus from work!

Hello All

Just been down this morning...conditions not so great but quite enjoyable by typical Port Elizabeth standards...our water is very green so it is wide angle ambient for me or supermacro with flashes once I have the hardware...

I have not been on here for a while so must figure out how to post piccies again...I shoot Sony's RX-100 MkII in a Nauticam housing with the Inon wide angle attachment and dome...
