Understanding Exposure, £10.87 from Amazon

It sure is Simon... The one I've ordered replaces the previous edition of UE I had.

Anyone happening to come across this thread who doesn't know of this book really ought to get it, and nab one at the current bargain price Amazon are selling it for!

Does the book now include use of the histogram for evaluating exposures, or does it remain stuck in the pre digital era of being limited to ISO values (unless you chnaged your film stock) and peculiar ways of metering? Is it also as vague as it ever was about describing how the meter indicates a "correct exposure", because in earlier versions Bryan certainly managed to avoid being clear about some things and his descriptions of his procedure for metering and setting exposure seemed very backwards to me.

The book has the potential to be excellent as a tutorial and learning experience, but I felt the previous versions were let down badly by a failure to get on board with the digital age and the tools and techniques that go with it. I really hope the 3rd revision addresses those weaknesses.
