Under-developed film negative

There isnt anything you can do about it to my knowledge. It sucks but there is no way of manipulating the negative like that (unless you overexpose it, but thats not relevant here)

You can try taking a picture of them with your dslr. If you put them in the film holder for the V500, place that above a flashgun with a diffuser and very carefully focus you can probably get something vaguely workable. If they are too under-dev'd/exposed though you're stuffed
This will only ever give really really low contrast pics though, so you might be better of just nor bothering if there's nothing particular on the roll

You can try a intensifier like

or alternatively, selenium toning the negs.
Variable results with both methods, but I used an intensifier a few years ago with some success. Unfortunately I can't remember exactly which one it was, possibly an Ilford one..
