I dont need either so thought Id share!

Tempted by a spare battery(450D) for £18 though.

They are all market place traders though, not Amazon themselves, although the canon ones are both fulfilled by Amazon.

is that the older 55-250mm? I think the new one may have 11 after it.

The old and new 55-250mm IS share the same optics and internals. It was just a cosmetic refresh of the design.

Also, be aware that I've seen some places offering GREAT deals and then mysteriously go out of stock, or some of it actually comes from overseas.

I'd recommend buying used from here or from a reputable UK based bricks n' mortar shop
