Another noob saying 
to you all....
Been shooting with a bridge for about 6 months (Fuji S1000fd, great little camera, still use it for macro work)... Rapidly pushed it beyond it's limits so I'm now the proud owner of a Samsung GX10 (the K10D in disguise) and it out shoots me every time. Now saving for a decent macro lens.... it's a slippery slope!
