Yesterday I went to shoot some Time Lapse up at Sutton Scarsdale Hall, only to see H&S Nanny State have now fenced it all off! I then went to capture some generic cloud movement across the sky, but the coverage was 100% cloudy, and not much wind. So didn't bother.

Today, perfect blue sky with the odd cloud here and there. Where am I? Stuck in the bloody office! :(

Seems you fell foul of "Sod's Law"

Sodding nuisance but the weather has been less than helpfulfor over 3 months. Spring in 13 days so all will be good..... will it not?

So definitely not "Due to a major conservation project, the interior of Sutton Scarsdale Hall is inaccessible but its exterior can be viewed from the footpath around the building" then?

Looks more like they just don't want punters wandering about and getting in their way, but otherwise it'll be the insurance companies covering their backsides and nothing to do with a "nanny state"

That's good news then I guess.....

Would have been nice to have had a sign/notice up advising the same.
