Two RAF planes crash in Wales

terrible thing especially two female students, how could this happen?
 
This is awful. I feel for their families. It's bad enough when aircrew are lost in a conflict, but in training... tragic.
 
this happened not far from me, around 5 minutes in the car, i was driving through town around the time it happened and it was swarming with police cars.

i was down that nature reserve a few months ago taking photos (the set is on here) its a really nice area so no doubt the plane crash has done some damage but its a very sad and tragic accident.
RIP-thoughts go out to all the families
 
According to the BBC the girls were cousins and were aged just 13 and 14 on an 'air experience' flight. The crashed seems to have been caused by pilot error as the wing tips collided.

This is the kind of tragedy that devastates families forever. RIP!!
