I might get to Little Gransden as well or Sywell, if I do go we will have to say hello!
 
Shame there's no Duxford in that list, think the closest for me is Claxton....fingers crossed for good weather

Don't overlook the fact that this schedule ONLY includes shows in August. They haven't yet confirmed (or at least, they haven't yet publicised) any dates for September.
 
Yes I know, still a bit disappointing so far. They said a while back that they wouldn't release any dates until they have them all confirmed.

Can still keep fingers crossed for a visit up this end

I am disappointed that they are not doing anything in "Bomber County" Lincolnshire
 
I'll definitely be going to Clacton to see them, but I'm hoping they'll be at Duxford in September too.

@munch As far as I'm aware there's an agreement in principal for the pair to do a fly past at the Lincs Aviation Heritage Centre where NX611 Just Jane lives, they're just sorting out a date.
If that comes to fruition I'll definitely be making the trip up there as it'll be amazing to see the three of them together.

They've actually put on their Facebook page this eve that they will both be flying from conningsby etc and there will be more dates north and South to be announced.... So we will see
 
Watch out on the East Kirkby website where Just Jane (ground running Lancaster resident) they are trying to organize a fly past of both lancs over Just Jane, 3 Lancs in 1 shot would be heart stopping

As I said earlier in the thread, the agreement is pretty much done, they're just trying to sort out a date. There's a possibility of the Canadian Lanc staying a week or two longer to participate in some of the later shows in the season so those need to be sorted out before the JJ flyby.

I had heard they were going to be based in Lincolnshire and fly to each show location from there so you may yet get to see them, I hope that they come in over south Wales as the Canadian Lanc is doing multiple stops on its long flight from Canada so hopefully it will come over me as that's probably the only time I will get to see it.
 
There's a an old Canadian guy in the sony dpreview forum who used to fly these beauties and he has just posted up that a seat on the lancaster has been auctioned for charity at nearly $80k to fly from Canada to the uk!

No need to wonder; just read the thread. The Canadian Lancaster will be appearing at events in August and September, but so far only the August schedule has been published.

They're going to be based at RAF Coningsby for the tour so I think there'll be a few chances to see them in the area.
 
Wonder if Bournemouth air show will get a look in. End of August.

Have to say I am undecided on this! I am in the position that I can easily pop to Duxford, Gransden and Sywell and although will not have 3 Lancs there think that photo opps will be better. I was fortunate enough to do a Taxy ride last August and if they do get 5000 people there it will be tough to get a good view of all of them together. You will certainly need to grab a space early and not move, but know knows where Jane will actually be?
 
Fantastic! Just booked tickets for August 24 at Little Gransden, just up the road from Mother in law:) I live in Lincs so may see them fly before then.

I've got tickets for Sywell, can't really make duxford. But just managed to bag two tickets for the the just Jayne event
 
I thought I read somewhere that it was possible to buy a ride in the cockpit of one of these Lancasters for about £ 5000.
