Not much compared to some peoples exploits on here but I've had two firsts this week:
  • First time published in Horse and Hound - two images used;
  • First magazine front cover - one of my images from Blenheim Horse Trials is apparently being used on the front of an equestrian magazine (with more shots inside) but because of the postal strike I'll probably have to wait a few more days to see it. :bang:
 
Good stuff Colin, which mag did you get the cover on?

Isn't it a great feeling. Somehow makes it worth while, and good to know your doing something right. At least that's how I feel when my stuff gets published, or used. I'm still working on the front cover myself.

The magazine cover shot was from Blenheim Horse Trials and I was working for the magazine that day. For the Horse & Hound shots they approached me as they were running an article about a stud farm and their horses and foals that I had photographed recently. The stud have just won two major accolades/competitions and H&H are doing a feature.

I will even go and buy the magazine myself.
